10.5 Fault during weighing
The weight of the patient cannot be determined.
Condition Cause Remedy
The device height cannot
be adjusted using the foot
pedals.
The height adjustment
mechanism has been
actuated for 2 minutes.
Wait a few minutes to
allow the drive to cool
down. If the height of the
device still cannot be
adjusted when the drive
has cooled down, contact
specialized service per-
sonnel.
Height adjustment is
locked.
Touch the Lock... button in
the main menu bar. Unlock
the height adjustment
function.
Fault in the height adjust-
ment or bed-tilt mecha-
nism.
Restart the device. Do not
actuate the bed-tilt mecha-
nism. Set the device to
transfer height. Contact
specialized service per-
sonnel.
Condition Cause Remedy
The mattress tray control
panel cannot be operated.
Adjustment of the height
and tilt of the mattress tray
is not possible.
The bed-tilt mechanism is
locked.
Touch the Lock... button in
the main menu bar. Unlock
the mattress tray function.
Condition Cause Remedy
The following text is dis-
played while taring the
scale or weighing the
patient: Weight value
invalid. Check scale.
The taring weight or the
weight of the patient can-
not be determined. There
is a problem with the
scale.
Check the position of the
mattress tray and the mat-
tress on the scale. Check
that the scale plug is cor-
rectly plugged in. Repeat
the weighing process. If
weighing is still not possi-
ble, contact specialized
service personnel.
