● Detach test lung from Y-piece

»!!! Airway pressure low«.
Display after about 45 seconds:
MV 0 L/min
+ 0.5 L/min tolerance
● Reconnect test lung to the Y-piece.
Checking mains power failure
● Disconnect mains plug, or disconnect DC supply plug.
The device switches over to the internal battery and
continues ventilating.
Display:
!! Int. battery activated
● Reconnect mains plug or DC supply plug.
Checking the O2 alarm
● Disconnect O2 compressed gas hose connector:
Intermittent audible alarm and display:
!!! O
2 supply down
Savina ventilates with air.
● Reconnect O2 compressed gas hose connector.
A warning !!! FiO2 low may appear briefly.
● Press »Alarm Reset«.
After successful testing of readiness for operation, Savina is
ready to use.
● Do not use device unless all the test steps have been
completed.
