B. Stacking Mode
The following describes sorting operations using A4 paper as an example.
1) Set the paper receiving method to “Stack-
ing”.
2) Set the conveyance speed to 1.
• Normally set to “1”.
Paper may bend when using only a few
sheets of thin paper. In such cases, set to
“2” to decrease the conveyance speed.
• When using less than ve sheets of ne
quality paper (less than 51.4 g/m
2
) or
coated paper (less than 84.9 g/m
2
), if the
leading edge of the paper does not t
under the paper receiving guide 3, set
the conveyance speed to 2.
3) Move side guide B in the arrow direction.
4) Remove the paper receiving stopper 3.
5) Remove the auxiliary stopper from paper
receiving stopper 1.
6) Attach auxiliary stopper to side guide F
only when collating A5/IN paper.
