If paper is fed skewed for A4/LT long edge
feed, etc., place two paper guides at the right
side of the paper.
When conveying A5/IN or A4/LT paper sideways or using non-standard size paper using the following
method, use the movable paper guide only for the right paper guide.
When Not Using All Bins in the All Bins Mode
By loading paper from bin 1 sequentially, the movable paper guide will not be required.
It is recommended that paper be loaded from the rst bin.
<A5/IN, A4/LT paper conveyed sideways>
When a bin without paper loaded is an odd-numbered bin, use the even-numbered bin right under it.
(Example) When paper is loaded from the second bin, use the movable paper guide in the second
bin.
<Non-standard paper size>
Use the movable paper guide when loading paper when the paper guide is directly under the paper
feed bin base.
• Use the movable paper guide in the odd-number bin directly under the even-numbered bin
without paper.
• Use the movable paper guide in the even-numbered bin directly under the odd-number bin
without paper.
(Example) When loading paper from the third bin, use the movable guide in the third bin.
