Technical alarms: (display in the area below the NIBP value):
NIBP module failure or
communication failure.
Stop using measuring
function of NIBP module;
notify biomedical engineer or
Manufacturer’s service staff.
Cuff is not properly
wrapped or no cuff is
connected.
NIBP pump, valve, cuff or
tube has a leakage.
Check the connections and
the wrapped cuff to see
whether they are all
prepared well.
Decline of air pressure is
less than 2 mmHg after 6
deflations.
Check whether the airway is
occluded or pressure sensor
works properly in pressure
meter mode. If the problem
still exists, contact your
service personnel.
Cuff is too loose or patient
pulse is too weak.
Use other method to
measure blood pressure.
Maybe the patient blood
pressure value is beyond the
measurement range.
Use other method to
measure blood pressure.
Because of arm motion,
signal noise is too large or
pulse rate is not regular.
Make sure that the patient
under monitoring is
motionless.
Sensor or other hardware
errors.
If failure persists, stop using
measuring function of NIBP
module and notify
biomedical engineer or
manufacturer’s service staff.
The initial pressure is too
high during measuring

persists, stop using
measuring function of NIBP
module and notify
