9 Maintenance
General
The proper functioning of the individual components of the machine cru-
cially depends on the quality of cleaning and maintenance. Insufficient
maintenance causes unnecessary wear and may result in a decrease in
production time because the machine is not in operation.
Caution:
If pastes containing solvent are used, customers must check to what
extent these solvents do not influence the lubricants.
Caution:
Switch off the main switch on the machine before starting mainte-
nance work.
Switch the E1 printer off at the main switch.
Open the cover.
Note:
Only expert personnel who have received relevant training are permit-
ted to carry out maintenance work.
