Electrical hazards
Work on the electrical power supply should be carried out by trained
electricians only.
The electrical equipment of the machine must be checked regularly.
Repair any loose connections and damaged cables immediately.
The power supply unit must always remain closed. It may only be
opened by authorised personnel.
An explosive atmosphere must be avoided, as the electrical compo-
nents are not explosion-proof.
Maintenance and repair, troubleshooting
The intervals specified for the prescribed maintenance and repair work
must be observed.
The operating personnel must be informed before any maintenance
and repair work is started.
Before commencing maintenance, inspection and repair work, care
must be taken to ensure that the machine is de-energised and that the
main switch cannot be switched on again inadvertently.
A warning sign must be put in place to prevent the machine from being
started by a third party.
When replacing large assemblies, carefully attach and secure them to
the lifting gear.
Check loosened screw connections to ensure that they are secure.
Once the maintenance work has been completed, check to ensure that
the safety devices are fitted and are functioning correctly.
