As there is high voltage (5000V) and high frequency (19.2MHz) present, a
measurement would be very difficult and, above all, very dangerous. Before the
generator cover plate is unscrewed, the device should be turned off or, better, the
power plug pulled out.

Before touching any components or wiring, make sure the capacitors are
discharged.
You should check the connections in the oscillator circuit to ensure all screws are
turned tightly, especially all the cap screws on the combustion coil.
The electrical connections and resistors should be checked with an ohmmeter. If
the resistor 2.7K / 100W (3) is open circuit, then there is no oscillation, but also no
power consumption.
The tube doesn't take any current at all. The parts e.g. tube and rectifier should be
replaced one by one.
