Table 7-36 Peak curve operating scenarios
Condition Diagram Description
Stop activated while at
constant speed
If a stop is activated while at constant speed, a normal stop occurs
and the profile parameters are not modified.
Stop activated while at
constant acceleration
If a stop is activated while at constant acceleration, a peak cure
profile is generated where the profile jerk and acceleration are used
as specified but the peak speed is optimized such that the target
distance is reached without overshoot.
Stop activated while in
Jerk 2 or Acceleration
reduction
If a stop is activated while in Jerk 2 or acceleration reduction, a peak
cure profile is generated where the profile jerk, acceleration and peak
speed is optimized such that the target distance is reached without
overshoot.
