Check the connection of the Exit Sensor in
the FUSER UNIT
Check the connection state between Exit Sensor
and PWBA MCU.
Are P/J17 and P/J171 connected correctly?
Go to Step [2]. Reconnect P/J17
and P/J171
correctly.

Check the continuity of the HARNESS ASSY
FUSER
Is the continuity between P/J23 <=> P/J232
normal ?
Go to Step [3]. Replace the
HARNESS
ASSY FUSER.

Check the power voltage supply to the Exit
Sensor in the FUSER UNIT
Measure the voltage between PWBA MCU
ground <=> P/J17-1PIN.
Is the power voltage (approx. +3.3 V) output?
Go to Step [4]. Replace the
PWBA MCU.

Check the operation of the Exit Sensor in the
FUSER UNIT
Measure the voltage between PWBA MCU
ground <=> P/J17-3PIN.
Does the voltage change when the Exit Sensor
is shielded from light?
Replace the
PWBA MCU.
