2.5.2 Paper Feeder
2.5.2.1 Part Names and Functions
SWITCH ASSY SIZE
Detects paper size and the presence of the paper tray.
(Refer to “2.7.1 Paper Size Control (p60) ”.)
SENSOR PHOTO (CST No Paper Sensor)
Detects presence of papers in the paper tray according to the change in position of
the Actuator No Paper.
(When there is no paper, the sensor receives the light.)
CLUTCH ASSY PH FEED
Transmits the drive from DRIVE ASSY PH to ROLL ASSY FEED.
(Refer to “2.8.3 DRIVE ASSY PH (p70) ”.)
ROLL ASSY FEED
When CLUTCH ASSY PH FEED operates, ROLL ASSY FEED (Feed Roll and
Nudger Roll) starts to rotate and transfers papers.
