6.2 Cleaning
While at maintenance work, perform the cleaning procedure as described below.
MAIN UNIT
 Outer cover
Clean it with a soft, clean cloth moistened with a mild detergent.

To prevent an electric shock, burn, injury, etc., always turn the
printer off and unplug the power cord before starting cleaning.
 Never use alcohol or thinner to clean the printer cover. These
chemicals can damage the components as well as the cover.
 Be careful not to get water onto the printer mechanism or any
electrical components.
 Do not use a hard or abrasive brush or cloth to clean the
printer. To do so may cause discoloration or deformation of the
printer cover.
