2.3.6 Discharging
In discharging process, the charge on the paper is neutralized/removed by the Detack Saw.
Detack Saw
Detack Saw neutralizes/removes electrical charge of the paper so that toner
transferred on the paper will not scatter over the surrounding metal parts.
Detack Saw is a metal sheet that is kept at ground level, and placed a few
millimeter away from the back side of the Transfer Belt. Detack Saw neutralizes
the electrical charge through the Transfer Belt.
