FIP-P1 THE PRINTED IMAGE IS LIGHT OR FAINT
Before starting troubleshooting, inspect the paper feed path of the printer paper. Check
the paper feed path for metal staples, paper clips, paper scraps, and other foreign
matter.

Go to Step [2]. Replace the
specified
IMAGING

Check the paper
Is it a new standard paper free from moisture?
Go to Step [3]. Replace it with a
new standard
paper free from
moisture.

Check the installation of the TRANSFER
UNIT
Reinstall the TRANSFER UNIT and make a
test print. Does the printing density get back to
normal?

Check the laser beam path
Is there any foreign material between the ROS
ASSY and the IMAGING CARTRIDGE?
Remove the
foreign material.
Go to Step [5].

Check the installation of the IMAGING
CARTRIDGE (Y/M/C/K)
Reinstall the IMAGING CARTRIDGE (Y/M/
C/K) and make a test print. Does the printing
density get back to normal?

Check the DISPENSER ASSY
Is the DISPENSER ASSY (toner supply motor)
operating normally?
Replace the
PWBA MCU.
