3. Remove the GUIDE TRAY R 550 from the rear side of the main unit by laying the GUIDE TRAY R
550 inward.

COVER SIDE L
As the FUSER UNIT remains at hazardous temperature after turning the power off, be
careful not to burn yourself.
1. Release the lock on the left side of the FUSER UNIT.
2. Remove the three screws (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secure the COVER SIDE L to the main unit.
3. Pull the COVER SIDE L so that it comes free from the two protrusions of the main unit.
4. Release the two tabs on the back side and the two tabs on the front side of the COVER SIDE L, and
remove the COVER SIDE L from the main unit.
