FUSER UNIT
Be careful not to burn yourself as the FUSER section remains at high temperature after
turning the power off.
1. Open the CHUTE DUP GATE.
2. Rotate the levers on the left and right side of the FUSER UNIT as shown in the direction of the arrow,
and unlock the lock.
3. Slide the FUSER UNIT toward front of the printer, release the connector and the guide pin from the
main unit, and remove the FUSER UNIT by lifting it straight up.

There are four IMAGING CARTRIDGEs and they can be removed in the same manner.
Do not place the IMAGING CARTRIDGE in areas exposed to direct sunlight or
fluorescent lamp.
1. Hold the levers on the left and right sides of the IMAGING CARTRIDGE, and remove the
IMAGING CARTRIDGE by pulling it out slowly toward you.
