7 Perform the update
Press the [ ] button on the control panel of the printer.
A “Completion” pop-up window will appear when the transmission
is finished. Click the [OK].
8 Confirm the checksum
When updating the program data is finished, the checksum will be indicated on the LCD panel.
Confirm the checksum.
9 Reboot the printer
Turn the printer off and back on.

10 Print a status sheet
Print a status sheet or a engine status sheet.

Check the firmware version on the status
sheet
Compare the firmware version printed on the status sheet or the engine status sheet with the one on the
sheet printed in step 1, and confirm that the firmware is updated.
