4.4.22 EJ Frame Assy
1. Remove the Linear Scale. (p.91)
2. Remove the Printer Mechanism. (p.107)
3. Remove the Carriage Assy. (p.116)
4. Remove the CD-R Guide Assy. (p.127)
5. Remove the right and left EJ frame torsion springs.
6. Disengage the hooks (x2), and remove the Left EJ Frame Release Guide.
7. Remove the screw, and release the hooks (x2), and remove the Right EJ Frame Release
Guide.
8. At the right side, remove the screws (x2), and remove the Right Rack and Right EJ
Link.
9. Release the shank of the EJ Frame Assy from the groove in the Left Rack and remove
the EJ Frame Assy.

C A U T I O N
When installing or removing the EJ frame torsion springs, take
care not to bend the spring catches of the printer frame.
