4.2.5 Middle Housing
1. Remove the Panel Assy. (p.80)
2. Remove the Scanner Unit. (p.83)
3. Remove the Pressure Pump Assy. (p.85)
4. Remove the Main Board Unit. (p.86)
5. Remove the Stacker Assy.
6. Remove the screws (x2), and disengage the hooks (x2) at the bottom of the printer and
remove the Front Cover.
7. At the rear of the printer, remove the screws (x2) securing the Hinge Units (x2).
8. Remove the screws securing the Middle Housing.
9. Remove the Middle Housing from the printer body while paying attention to the lead
wires and FFCs.

C A U T I O N
 When removing or installing the Middle Housing, take care not
to tilt the printer more than 90 degrees. Otherwise, ink leakage
may occur inside the printer.
 Release the right and left hooks at the bottom of the Front
Cover as shown at right so as to avoid damaging them.
