4.2 Removal of Exterior Parts
4.2.1 Panel Assy
1. Raise the LCD, and remove the Panel Cover while opening it longitudinally outward
with your thumbs placed in the central space for the LCD.
2. Remove the screws (x4) securing the Panel Assy.
3. Open the Scanner Unit, and remove the USB Cable Cover.
4. Remove the screws (x2) securing the Middle Cover.
5. Release the hooks of the Middle Cover and Panel Assy from the printer.
6. Disconnect the FFCs of the LCD and Panel Board from the Main Board.

C A U T I O N
Take care not to damage any cables with any screw that is
projecting from the Shield of the Main Board.
 Before installing the Middle Cover, make sure that the cables
are routed properly without any of them placed over the post
on the bottom of the Middle Cover.
 Install the Middle Cover while engaging its rear-side hooks (x3)
with the printer body.
Torque: 0.6 ± 0.1N⋅m
Torque: 0.6 ± 0.1N⋅m
