5.1 Overview
This section describes all adjustment procedures for Stylus Photo RX700.
5.1.1 Adjustment Items
Described below are adjustment items of Stylus Photo RX700.
Note “*”: Make this adjustment when it is impossible to back up the EEPROM data on the
Main Board.

 If the disassembly process includes the removal of any
components/parts specified here, make the adjustments
specified below.
 If it is impossible to back up the EEPROM data when
replacing the Main Board, replace all the maintenance parts
with new ones and clear the counter.
 Make the mechanical adjustments before making adjustments
that use the adjustment program.

P O I N T
 The adjustment program of Stylus Photo RX700 has
sequential mode. Usually use this mode and make each
adjustment according to the procedure indicated by the
program.
 For Stylus Photo RX700, an adjustment program for scanner
is available in addition to the adjustment program (printer)
mentioned above. For details, see “5.4 Scanner Home Position
Adjustment” (p.142).
However, there is no need of making adjustment for scanner
when the Scanner Unit has been replaced with a new one.
