4.2.2 Scanner Unit
1. Remove the Panel Assy. (p.80)
2. Remove the FFC Cover.
3. Disconnect the FFCs (x2) of the Scanner Unit from the Main Board, together with the
FFC Clamp.
4. Remove the screws (x2).
5. Lift the Scanner Unit carefully, and unplug the ground cable from the printer frame.

C A U T I O N
 When removing the Scanner Unit, take care not to break the
ground cable, which is connected to the printer.
 With the FFC disconnected, take care not to break the ferrite
cores by hitting them against each other.

Remove the Scanner Unit, while holding it in an open position,
from the printer body.
Torque: 0.6 ± 0.1N⋅m
