8 • Actuation Configurations for ACC 450
1. Position the neutral electrode on the patient. Connect neutral electrode
to the ACC 450.
2. Plug HF plug of the electrode handle
into the Cut and Coagulation
socket for finger switches.
3. Connect bipolar instrument
to Bipolar socket.

1. Open the cylinder valves on the argon gas cylinders in a clockwise direction
until they stop.
2. Check fill level of the argon cylinders (fill level of the argon cylinders is
in the information line of the standard display). Always keep a full
replacement cylinder at the ready.
1. Set Coagulation field to SPRAY 2.
2. Select the desired intensity.
Select intensity in the Cut field.
Do not activate P
EDAL key in Autocoagulation field. Imperative!
Select Bipolar Coagulation mode. Select AUTO START mode. If desired
select AUTO STOP mode. Select intensity in the Autocoagulation field.

neutral electrode to ACC
4. Plug in mains plug
5. Switch on
6. Open cylinder valves
8. Set ACC for ARGON CUT
