User manual and visual inspections
•
Test specimen and accessories (where enclosed) undamaged externally.
• User manual present.
• All labels on the test specimen (conformity declaration mark, rating
plate, and all wording) present and readily legible.
Electrical safety checks
List of checks The individual checks comprise:
• Ground terminal to potential equalization pin.
• Measurement of the unit leakage current.
• Measurement of the leakage current from the applied part.
Opening or closing the relays Depending on national specifications, measurement of the leakage current
(unit leakage current, leakage current from the applied part) is performed
using open or closed relays.
1. Call up the "Menu" screen.
2. Call up <Service>.
3. Enter the password VIO3 and confirm with <Entry>. The unit shows
all service settings.
4. Call up <Test programs>. The unit shows all test programs.
5. Call up <Test Program Relay>:
– <close all> closes all relays (switch position ------).
– <open all> opens all relays (switch position --/--).
Switching off the test specimen 1. Once the checks have been completed, switch off the test specimen.
IMPORTANT! Electrical safety is verified in accordance with the national specifica-
tions and regulations.
