4. Retract
The Retract function gives the programmer a high level of tip control at the end of line
dispensing. It allows the tip to reverse direction, back along the dispense path, and up
after line dispensing or move forward, at an angle. This is useful when dispensing high
viscosity or 'stringy' materials as it will lay the material tail down on the dispensed bead.
There are three forms of the Retract function: Normal, Square and Forward:
