AcqPeriod This eld is used to specify the period for recording
data in the le (equipment collection is continuous).
It is expressed in seconds.

Timeout Device response timeout conguration. If the
device does not respond within this time limit, the
concentrator considers the request to have failed.
This time is expressed in ms.
This eld is not used by the “IO”, “TIC” and “SMA-Net”
protocols.
For SMA-Net, the value is 3000ms.

SerialNumber Some devices require a serial number. This is
especially the case for “TIC” devices. This eld is
used to indicate it.
It is not used by the “IO” and “Modbus” protocols
Parameters This eld is only used in the following cases:
•ModbusTCP devices: used to indicate if “KeepAlive”
messages are sent to keep the connection open. If
the eld value is “1”, a regular message is sent. If the
eld value is “0”, no message is sent.
The default value is 1
•Proprietary equipment: (see application note on
proprietary protocols).
Category This eld allows you to specify the category to which
the equipment belongs. It should be noted that this
eld is lled in automatically by the concentrator.
Model This eld indicates the device model name.
Note that the concentrator lls in this eld
automatically.
DefFile This eld is used to indicate the denition le that
exactly describes all the variables and data exposed
by the device.
