F to 110 mF Capacitance Verification
The 5520A calibrator can source capacitance values much larger than what most RCL
meters can measure. The method described below uses a dc current from a precision
current source and a high speed sampling digital multimeter to verify the 5520A
capacitance outputs from 200 µF to 110 mF.
