Remove and Inspect the B-Series Valves
For this procedure, see Figure 21.
1. Use a 9/16 inch nut driver or wrench to remove the nut that holds the
B-series valve coil.
2. Remove the coil and coil washer from the valve. Note that the
rubber on the washer makes contact with the bottom of the coil when
reassembled.
3. Use a large flat-head screwdriver to remove the valve shaft and valve
body .
4. Inspect the seal for contamination or excessive wear.
5. Inspect the O-ring , and base orifice . If any parts are damaged,
remove the base with a #2 Phillips screwdriver and replace the entire
valve. The entire valve can be ordered from Fluke Calibration.
