1
Connect phase conductors and earth conductors (PE green) to the mains ter-
minals „INPUT 600/575 V (480 V) 50/60 Hz
Final check
1
Check that the phase conductor and earth conductor from the power source
connecting cable are securely in place on the clamping strips and check for
correct connection.
2
Check the insulation and PE conductor using a suitable device
WARNING!
Danger from the mains voltage and the autotransformer output voltage.
An electric shock can be fatal.
▶
Testing of the mains voltage and output voltage from the auto-transformer is
carried out while the device is switched on. Never touch the auto-transfor-
mer or any of its parts while it is connected to the mains.
WARNING!
Danger from incorrect operation and work that is not carried out properly.
This can result in serious personal injury and damage to property.

and all system components.
3
Plug the mains plug in and connect the mains supply
4
Using a suitable device, test the mains voltage at the clamping strips „INPUT
50/60 Hz“
5
Turn the main device switch to the „I“ position
6
Using a suitable device, test the output voltage at the clamping strips “OUT-
PUT 50/60 Hz“
7
Turn the main device switch to the „O“ position
8
Unplug the mains plug
Fitting the protective plate
9
Fit the mains terminal cover (5)
using the original screws
10
Fit the side panel
11
Turn the main device switch to the
„I“ position
IMPORTANT! The cover screws
form a suitable earth connection
for the insulation and PE conduc-
tor test. The housing screws must
not under any circumstances be
replaced by other screws without a
reliable ground conductor connec-
tion.
