Putting the unit
into service
NOTE!
The ventilation arrangements for the auto-transformer are a very important
safety feature. When deciding where to set up the system, ensure that cooling
air can enter unhindered through the air slots on the underside and escape
through the slots in the sides.

If the mains cable is made with a plug:
Attach a suitable mains plug to the auto-transformer’s mains cable, which
corresponds to the current input of the connected power source or auto-
transformer.

Carry out a safety inspection and PE conductor test on the mains plug

Turn the power source mains switch to the „O“ position

Turn the main device switch on the auto-transformer to the „O“ position
5
Connect auto-transformer mains cable to the local supply

Turn the auto-transformer’s main device switch to the „I“ position, the auto-
transformer is now ready for use
