The wirefeeder has safety symbols and a rating plate fitted. These safety symbols and the
rating plate must not be removed or painted over. The safety symbols warn against oper-
ating the equipment incorrectly, as this may result in serious injury and damage to property.
Do not use the functions described here until you have fully read and understood the fol-
lowing documents:
- These Operating Instructions
- All system component Operating Instructions, especially the safety rules
Welding is dangerous. To ensure that this device can be used correctly and safely, the fol-
lowing basic requirements must be met:
- Adequate welding qualifications
- Appropriate protective equipment
- Keep unauthorized people away from the wirefeeder and the welding process
