After removing the staple cartridge, check
inside of the finisher for any remaining
staples.

Pull up the metal part of the staple cartridge
as shown in the figure.

Remove the jammed staples (1), and return
the metal part pulled up in Step 5 to the
original position (2).

Return the staple cartridge to its original
position until it clicks into place

Close the front cover of the finisher.
Note • If the front cover is not completely closed,
a message will appear and the machine
will not operate.

This section explains how to remove jammed staples from Finisher-C1 with Booklet
Maker (optional). Use the same procedure for Finisher-C1 (optional).
CAUTION
Be careful in removing jammed staples.
