Hold the tabs on both sides of the staple
cartridge.

While holding the tabs of the staple
cartridge, rotate it in the direction of the
arrow shown in the figure.

Lift the staple cartridge out of the unit.

Remove the jammed staples as shown in the
figure.

Holding the booklet staple cartridge by its left
and right tabs, return the cartridge to its
original position, and then gently push the
cartridge in until you hear it click into place.
CAUTION
Be careful in removing jammed staples.
