iFax Subject (Specifying the iFax Subject)
You can specify an iFax subject. If no subject is specified, the preset subject will be
automatically entered.
Note • This feature is not available for some models. An optional package is necessary. For more
information, contact our Customer Support Center.
1 Select the [Fax/Internet Fax] tab to
display the [Fax/Internet Fax ]
screen.
2 Select [iFax/Fax] to display "iFax"
in the address field.
3 Select the [Transmission Options]
tab to display the [Transmission
Options] screen.
4 Select [iFax Subject].
5 Select [Keyboard].
6 Enter a subject using the keyboard
displayed. Up to 128 characters
can be entered.
For information on how to enter characters, refer to "Entering Text" (P.273).
Note • If no subject is entered, the following will be automatically entered as a subject:
[InternetFAX:<From> : <Send Date and Time>].
iFax Comment (Mail Contents) (Editing the iFax Mail Contents)
You can edit iFax comments. Enter text using the keyboard or use a pre-registered
comment.

2 Select [iFax/Fax] to display [iFax] in
the address field.

tab to display the [Transmission Options] screen.
4 Select [iFax Comment (Mail
Contents)].
5 Select any item.
Delete
Deletes the comment displayed on the screen.
