Creating or Erasing a Cleave Mode
How to create a cleave mode
Standard cleave modes are available when the cleaver is delivered, and all other modes
are displayed as [BLANK]. Follow the procedures below to add a new mode.
1. Select a “BLANK” mode, then press and hold the SET key.
Typical cleave modes stored in the cleaver will be displayed.
Select a cleave mode to be copied for reference, then select the new mode from
the [Select Cleave Mode] menu.
How to delete a cleave mode
Cleave modes can be deleted. Follow the steps below to delete a cleave mode.
1. Select the cleave mode and press and hold the SET key.
2. Select [Fiber Type] in [Fundamental Settings] and select “BLANK.” Press the SET
key to save the changes.
3. A confirmation message will appear – press the SET key to proceed past the
message.
¾ Mode No.1 cannot be deleted.
¾ Mode No.1 is automatically selected after deleting a cleave mode.
