RATINGS Setting [DVD]
A built-in viewer rating setting enables you to lock the videos that you do not want children
to view.
1 Press System at stop mode to display the menu.
2 Select “Rating” by pressing .
3 Use // to select a rating then press .
4 Input a 4-digit password with the number buttons.
4a For the first timer-- Factory pre-set password : 9999
5 Press / to select a level press .
For Your Reference:

You can use the parental control lock ONLY with DVD video discs featured
with the parental lock function.
 Some discs may not be encoded with specific rating level information
though its disc jacket says that is for “adults”. For those discs, RATINGS
lock will not function.
To finish the setup operation
