5.22 Setting the Tool Movement Speed
This function allows you set the movement speed of the tool in raised status separately from the cutting/
plotting speed. A tool movement that is faster than the cutting/plotting speed enables a reduction in the
overall cutting/plotting time.
(1) Press the [PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the [F4] key (OPTION2) to display the menu shown below.

(4) Press the [F2] key (MOVE SPD) to display the menu shown below.

TOOL MOVE SPEED
SPEED = AUTO
Use the [ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value, and then press the [ENTER] keytoconrmyourselection.
Setting range: AUTO, 10, 20, 30, 40 (cm/s) [Default value: AUTO]
When AUTO is selected, the pen movement speed is set to match the current cutting/plotting speed.
(5) Press the
[PAUSE] key to cancel PAUSE mode.
This setting is retained in the plotter's internal memory even while the plotter is turned off.
