Chapter 4 REGISTRATION MARK SETTINGS AND DETECTION
Setting the Registration Mark Spacing
(1) If registration mark 3, mirror 1 or mirror has been selected, the menu for setting the registration mark pattern spacing
is displayed.

SPACING = 3.0 mm
Use the [ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value. When the displayed setting is satisfactory, press the [ENTER]
keytoconrmyourselection.
Setting range: 0 to 9.9 (mm)

Setting the Center Registration Mark
The center registration mark can only be read for registration mark pattern 3, and only when "USER" has been selected
for the registration mark distance adjustment function.
(1) When registration mark pattern 3 has been selected and the
[ENTER] key pressed, the menu for setting the center
registration mark is displayed.

(2) To perform plotting with the center registration mark as the reference point, press the [F1] key(CENTER)toafxthe
black dot [
] next to CENTER and display the following menu. If you do not wish to perform plotting with the center
registration mark as the reference point, press the [F1] key once again to remove the black dot [
] and then press
the [ENTER] key.

To perform plotting with the center registration mark as the reference point, press the [F2], [F3] or [F4] key to
move the blinking cursor to X (X-axis length), W (center registration mark reading position) or Y (Y-axis length)
respectively. Use the
[ ] or [ ] key to move the blinking cursor, the [ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value
and the [ENTER] keytoconrmyourselections.
Setting range: [X/Y] 0 to 999.9 (mm), [W] -99.9 to +99.9 (mm)
