Chapter 3 PREPARATIONS FOR CUTTING/PLOTTING
Setting the Quality [QUALITY]
This setting determines the quality of the cut or plotted results. Please see Section 3.10, "Media and Cutting
Conditions" for further details on the setting values.
(1) With the plotter in Ready status, press a key from [F1] to [F4] to select the COND No. that you wish to change.
(2) Press the
[CONDITIONS] key to display the following screen. (The display will differ according to the setting
conditions that have been made.)

(3) Press the [F4] key to move the blinking cursor to the QUALITY parameter.

(4) Use the [ ] or [ ] key to change the value.
Setting range: 1-6
The smaller the number, the higher the quality
(5) When the displayed settings are correct, press the
[ENTER] key. To cancel your settings, press the [NEXT] key.
Thick Mode Settings
The Thick Mode is used for cutting thick media such as rubber for sandblasting masks and thick paper for
garmentpatternsaswellashardmediasuchasacryliclm.ThissettingisonlyenabledfortheCONDNos.
to which THICK mode has been assigned.

Thick Mode is not enabled when "PEN" or "CP001" has been selected as the cutter blade type.
