5.19 Setting the Offset Force
Sincethedirectioninwhichthebladetipisfacingcannotbedeterminedduringinitializationoftheplotter,
initial blade control must be performed. The Offset Force function is used to specify the force applied during
initial blade control. It is also used to specify the force applied during blade tip rotation in THICK mode.
(1) Press the [PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the [F2] key (OPTION1) to display the menu shown below.

(4) Press the [F2] key (OFST FCE) to display the offset force setting screen.

Use the [ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value, and then press the [ENTER] keytoconrmyourselection.
Setting range: 1 to 40 [Default value: 4]
(5) Press the [PAUSE] key to cancel PAUSE mode.

This setting is retained in the plotter's internal memory even while the plotter is turned off.

The OFFSET FORCE function is used to specify the cutting force when performing the initial blade control operation
or when performing blade rotation control in THICK mode. It is not used to specify the cutting force that is used
when cutting output data.
