(3) Press the [F2] key to move the blinking cursor to the SPEED parameter.

(4) Use the [ ] or [ ] key to change the value.
Setting range: 1 to 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 cm/s
(5) When the displayed settings are correct, press the
[ENTER] key. To cancel your settings, press the [NEXT] key.
Setting the Cutter Blade Type and Offset [OFFSET]
This setting enables you to select the type of cutter blade (pen, creasing tool) that you plan to use and then
determines the required amount of offset if you selected a cutter blade. Your plotter comes with a preset offset
value for each cutter blade type, and therefore the appropriate offset value is set automatically when you
selectabladename(09U,15U,etc.).Furtherneadjustmentoftheoffsetcanalsobeperformedifrequired.
Offset is the value that is used to compensate for the difference in position between the tip of the cutter blade
mounted in the cutter plunger and the center point of the cutter pen.
(1) With the plotter in Ready status, press a key from [F1] to [F4] to select the COND No. that you wish to change.
(2) Press the
[CONDITIONS] key to display the following screen. (The display will differ according to the setting
conditions that have been made.)

(3) Press the [F3] key to move the blinking cursor to the OFFSET parameter.

(4) Use the [ ] or [ ] key to cycle through the setting parameters. Select the desired cutter blade or tool.
Parameters that can be selected: 09U, 15U, 15UK30, 15-10C, 15-05S, 30U, OTHER, CP002 (roller-type
creaser), CP003 (roller-type creaser), CP001 (pen-type creaser), PEN
Select "OTHER" when you plan to use a cutter blade other than those registered or when a cutting operation using
athickorotherwisedifcult-to-cutmediumproducesunsatisfactoryresults.Select"PEN"whenyouplantousea
plotting pen.
If you select "CP-001" and then press the [ENTER] key, the Creaser Settings screen will be displayed. If you select
"CP-002", the Thick Mode Settings screen will be displayed.
(5) Whenabladename(09U,15U)or"Other"hasbeenselected,neadjustmentoftheoffsetcanbeperformed.Use
the [ ] or [ ] key to adjust the offset value.
Setting range: Blade name: -5 to +5; Other: 1-99
