Replacing safety control mechanism
To replace the safety control mechanism pull the emergen-
cy cord to turn hoist off, remove the bottom cover.
Note: It is important to always use a anti-static mat and
wrist band when working inside the hoist.
Disconnect battery wires, as described on page 74.
Unplug safety control wires from PCB.
Use a flat head screw driver or similar to remove the
mechanism, by pushing in one side to release the clip
Pull up on the mechanism to release it.
Note: If any part of the safety control mechanism becomes
faulty then replace the complete unit
