Combi lock 3
Push the bearing (1) and, at the same time, open the gate
(2) at the traverse rail’s safety lock.
Be sure it moves easily.
Release the bearing and the gate – both shall return easily
back to closed position, otherwise replace the safety lock.
If the safety gate can stay open by itself the complete safety
lock must be replaced.
Check that the safety lock does not show signs of being
bent or damaged and that it is free of corrosion.
Check that the safety lock at the traverse rail is installed with
safety screws (1).
Check that the gate is flush with rail end (2).
Check that the safety lock at the fixed rail is flush with rail
end (1).
Check safety screws (2).
Check points
• Check for corrosion (in case of corrosion, replace
safety locks)
• Check for dust inside rails where safety locks are
installed. (if so, clean it)
• Check that the safety locks do not show signs of being
bent or damaged. (if so, replace the safety locks)
• Check that the safety locks are installed with safety
screws. (if not, do it)
• Check that the safety locks are installed flush to rail
ends. (if not, change it)
• Check that the latch (tongue) is in the right position and
moves freely in the system
• Perform a pull test
