Internal CAN bus terminators
The following modules have an internal CAN bus terminator:
External Control Interface (XCI) modules
JETanchor Control Modules (JACMs)
External Control Interface modules are always installed as the last module in the chain, so their internal
terminators are enabled by default and so do not need to be accessed or configured during installation.
JETanchor Control Modules can be installed as the last module in the chain (if no external control interface is
fitted) or the second to last module in the chain (if an external control interface is fitted).
If the JETanchor control module is the last module in the chain, its CAN bus terminator must be enabled. If
the JETanchor control module is the second to last module in the chain, its CAN bus terminator must be
disabled.
To enable or disable the JETanchor control
module's CAN bus terminator:
Remove the module's cover
If an external control interface is fitted, use a
small screwdriver or pen to set the
terminator switch into its down (disabled)
position
If there is no external control interface fitted,
set the terminator switch to its up (enabled)
position
Replace the module's cover
