JETanchor commissioning
JETanchor commissioning must be performed by an authorised HamiltonJet commissioning
engineer. Contact your local HamiltonJet representative for advice if you have not been authorised
to commission JETanchor systems.
Relocating or re-orientating the JETanchor control module (JACM) or GPS antenna after the
commissioning process can cause vessel control stability issues when JETanchor is engaged. If the
JETanchor control module or GPS antenna is moved or re-orientated after commissioning, the
JETanchor commissioning procedure must be repeated.
JETanchor commissioning configures JETanchor so that it is compatible with the vessel's individual design and
performance characteristics (characteristics such as vessel size, waterjet size, waterjet spacing, deadrise, hull
form, displacement, and engine size). In effect, JETanchor is tuned to the vessel's design and performance
characteristics, and this is done by the auto tuning procedure described in following sections.
