If you shoot a still image of a subject that is difficult to
focus on
When the camera cannot focus on the subject automatically,
the focus indicator blinks. Either recompose the shot or
change the focus setting.

• Focusing may be dicult in the following situations:
– It is dark and the subject is distant.
– e contrast between the subject and the background is poor.
– e subject is seen through glass.
– e subject is moving quickly.
– e subject reects light such as mirror, or has shiny surfaces.
– e subject is ashing.
– e subject is backlit.
