The 4 plug terminals are coded, to prevent confusion when plugging them into the
4 sockets. The sockets have coding tabs; the plug terminals have coding pins.

The control inputs are on plug terminal 3; the control outputs are on plug terminal 4,
galvanically isolated from the internal supply voltage (see also section 8, "Explanation of
the key parameters" page 43).
