Replacing the Tip Pin of the Test Lead

Pinch the transparent tube and pull the pin base to remove
the tip pin.

Do not subject the cable to stress to prevent a wire brake.

Insert a new 9465-90 Tip Pin and press the tip against a
hard surface.

Assemble the grip in the reverse order of disassembling.
• To prevent a wire break, project the bush about
1 mm from the end face of the collet.
• Be careful not to push the bush too deeply.

Do not pull or twist the cable during assembling.

After tightening the collet nut, gently pull and twist the
cable to check if it has rmly been xed. Loose connections
could cause a wire break or poor contact.

Check for proper operation.
Measure a non-defective object to check if the measured
resistance is correct before use.
