1 Safety Instructions
This chapter provides safety precautions for the safe service and repair of the
controlled slip conveyor.
The operator must read and understand these precautions completely before
operating, setting up, installing, running, or performing maintenance on the
equipment. Failure to follow these instructions could result in death or serious
injury. Operators must be trained to safety operate the equipment and system
prior to attempting any operation.
1.1 Introduction
These safety precautions are to be used as a guide to supplement the following:
• Federal and state safety laws, regulations, and codes.
• Local safety codes.
• Plant and shop safety rules and codes.
• All other information pertaining to the equipment.
