Error. Illuminated if an unrecoverable error occurs. A corresponding error message displays
on the LCD screen (see “Troubleshooting” on page 153 for more information).

Back panel overview
The back panel provides access to the drive interface connectors, the tape drives, the power connector,
the Ethernet, serial and USB ports, and the magazine release holes. The Libraries support parallel
SCSI, SAS, and Fibre Channel tape drives. For example, Figure 10 shows an MSL4048 with a
full-height parallel SCSI tape drive, Figure 11 shows an MSL8048 or MSL8096 with two Fibre Channel
tape drives, and Figure 12 shows an MSL2024 with a SAS drive.
